An experienced civil litigation attorney, Kelly P. Sorensen Esq. joined the real estate law firm Brewer Offord & Pedersen LLP in May of 2021. Attorney Sorensen leverages a strong background of negotiation and strategy to represent clients in a wide range of real estate law matters, including non-disclosure disputes, unlawful detainer actions, and real estate purchase and sale transactions.
Since passing the State of California Bar exam, Kelly has developed significant experience in civil litigation matters. She has successfully marshalled cases from complaint to trial, and has prevailed in mediations and arbitrations for her clients. Attorney Sorensen is meticulous in drafting clear and concise contract language, to protect and advance her clients’ interests in transactions. She utilizes a keen proficiency with demurrers, motions to strike, oppositions, and expert witnesses to strengthen her clients position in real estate disputes.
Attorney Sorensen excelled as a law student at Southwestern Law School, graduating with cum laude distinction in 2016. Named to the Dean’s List in 2014, 2015, and 2016, Kelly also served as a board member for the Journal of International Law. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with a minor in French, from Loyola Marymount in 2007.
